Usage of automated tools

Post by x1admin » Mon Mar 19, 2018 8:07 am

Hi Folks,

Following our success and growing positive feedback from the website owners, we are happy enhance our ethical engagements with new requirements for your submissions.

Since now, no automated tools that may harm a website in any manner, shall be used for the purpose of reporting vulnerabilities on Open Bug Bounty. The restricted tools:
- Aggressively submit all web forms with garbage; or
- Test for intrusive vulnerabilities (e.g. SQL injection); or
- Affect website performance or availability; or
- Cause any other damage to the website.

Self-written or other tools suitable for non-intrusive testing may be carefully used if you have thoroughly configured and tested them for safe and reliable testing.

This will help build sustainable relations between our community and new website owners based on mutual respect, decency and good faith.

Thus, please concentrate your efforts on quality of reports and proper follow-ups, not their quantity.

P.S. Some cool new features are to be announced soon ;]
