TimeTrex Bug Bounty Program

TimeTrex runs a bug bounty program to ensure the highest security and privacy of its websites. Everyone is eligible to participate in the program subject to the below-mentioned conditions and requirements of TimeTrex

Open Bug Bounty performs triage and verification of the submissions. However, we never intervene to the further process of vulnerability remediation and disclosure between TimeTrex and researchers.

Bug bounty program allow private and public submissions.

Bug Bounty Scope

The following websites are within the scope of the program:

demo.timetrex.com

Non-Intrusive Submissions Handling

The following section encompasses submission of the vulnerabilities that do not require intrusive testing as per Open Bug Bounty rules:

- Cross Site Scripting (XSS)
- Open Redirect

- Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF)
- Improper Access Control

General Requirements:

TimeTrex is the worlds only open source enterprise class Workforce Management and Payroll software. It is hosted both in the cloud and on customers own servers.

The purpose of this reward program is to be proactive about security by providing a channel for security researchers to report potential security vulnerabilities.
Target Application URL: https://demo.timetrex.com/next-release/
Only the above URL is in scope, please don't waste your time testing any other URL

There are two logins available for testing:
Administrator login: Username: demoadmin1 / Password: demo
Regular Employee login: Username: jane.doe1 / Password: demo
Source code is available at: https://www.timetrex.com/onsite-community?step=download

*Any XSS/Phishing vulnerabilities will be deemed low severity due to the fact that this is not a public application and requires that all users login. We will reward at most only one XSS vulnerability per 24hr period per user, as in some cases the same vulnerability may manifest itself in several ways.

*Password change/reset and rate limiting related issues are ignored due to the public nature of the demo and the fact that password change/resets has been disabled to prevent denying others from accessing the demo. If you would like to test this functionality, please download the above mentioned source code and test it locally on your own system.

Please provide accurate and detailed steps to reproduce, including screenshots.

Testing Requirements:

Vulnerabilities should be verified as authentic, and not simply automated results of pen-tests.

Please no social engineering attacks.

Possible Awards:

Qualifying bugs will be rewarded based on severity. Our minimum reward is $50 USD, our maximum is $500 USD.

Rewards are granted entirely at the discretion of TimeTrex.
